I have limited experience with Graphic Design due to limited places being available on the Graphic Design course apart from an introduction in my first year.  I therefore chose Fashion and Textiles as my specialism and hopefully I can demonstrate what I am capable of achieving.

I am outgoing, bubbly, and creative; I enjoy socialising, going to the cinema and dining out with my friends.

I have chosen this particular field because I feel I have the passion, motivation, artistic flair, determination, respect and necessary skills.  I am a meticulous individual who likes to pay attention to detail.

Image 1:  A sequence of ‘Letters in a square’, this was an ice breaker where I had to describe a fellow pupil’s personality. The letter ‘R’ indentified the name of the pupil. They represent from top to bottom, jolly/happy, busy and creative.

Image 2:  unique, shy and clumsy.

Image 3:  Four different images from a Cath Kidston design, used to demonstrate the tools within Adobe Photoshop.

Image 4:  I painted an Artist's response by Gladys Palmer to demonstrate her quirky drawings for a project.

Image 5:  This is a technique called screen printing which is one of my experimental designs for my final major project.

Image 6:  Similar image; implementing different colour and overlapping.

Image 7:  A range of different experimental ideas using inks which relate to my final majour project.

Image 8:  A mood board related to one of my previous projects called Evidence.  I then went into greater depth by researching evidence of flowers/floral and pattern.  This gives me a sense of ideas at the start of a project.

Image 9:  A range of primary images which relates to my final major project 'Colour'.

Image 10:  A Shibori scarf which incorporates many techniques; t-shirt printing (a form of graphics), embroidery and a variety of exclusive trimmings.
